Remove ads

ColoredEye shows a small ad banner. A one-time in-app purchase, ColoredEye Ad Free, removes the ads and supports continued development.

Buy Ad Free

  1. Tap Settings, the gear at the top right of the camera screen.
  2. Under In-App Purchases, tap ColoredEye Ad Free.
  3. Tap Purchase. The price is shown on the same row.
  4. Confirm with the App Store.

When the purchase goes through, the ad disappears straight away. The ColoredEye Ad Free screen then says Purchased, and so does its row in Settings.

The consent message can still appear

In Europe, the UK and Switzerland, Google's consent message can still appear after you buy Ad Free, and Settings › Privacy › Privacy Settings stays available where it applies. That's because ColoredEye's analytics follows the same choice. See choose how your data is used for ads and analytics.

Already bought it?

If you bought Ad Free before, on this device or another one signed in to the same Apple Account, you don't need to buy it again. See restore your Ad Free purchase.

If the purchase doesn't go through

  • Purchase pending: the purchase needs approval, for example from a parent through Ask to Buy. The ads go away once it's approved.
  • In-App purchases are disabled on this device.: in-app purchases are turned off in Screen Time. Ask whoever manages the device's Screen Time settings to allow them.
  • In-App purchases can't be made right now. Please try again later.: ColoredEye couldn't reach the App Store. Check your internet connection and try again.
  • Transaction failed: the App Store couldn't complete the purchase. Try again later.
