Save your stops
Updated
My Stops keeps the stops you use, with the next buses coming to each one.
Save a stop
- Show the stop on the map. See find a stop near you.
- Tap the stop, then tap the star on its card. On the stop's Details page, tap Add to My Stops.
The star fills in once the stop is saved.
Each saved stop is for one line going one way. To save the same stop for another line, or for the other direction, show that line or direction and save it again.
See your stops
Once you've saved a stop, a card at the bottom left of the Live Map shows the saved stop nearest you and its next bus. If you have more saved stops, the card shows how many more, like +2.
Tap the card to open My Stops. Each stop shows the next three buses on the way. Tap a stop to show it on the map. Pull down to check again.
When you open a bus's Trip screen, your saved stops on its route are marked with a star, and the bus shows how many stops it is from the first one.
Remove or reorder stops
- In My Stops, swipe left on a stop to delete it.
- On a stop's card, tap the filled star. On its Details page, tap Remove from My Stops.
On iPhone and iPad
In My Stops, tap Edit to delete stops or drag them into a new order.
On Android
In My Stops, tap Edit. Each stop gets up and down arrows to move it and a trash button to delete it. Tap Done when you've finished.
On your other devices
- iPhone and iPad: My Stops sync with iCloud, so they're on your other iPhones and iPads signed in to the same iCloud account.
- Android: My Stops don't sync between devices. They're saved in your Android backup, so they come back when you restore BusBus from a backup or move to a new phone.
Your stops on the home screen
The My Stops widget
The My Stops widget shows the next buses coming to your saved stops, without opening BusBus.
- Touch and hold an empty spot on your home screen, and tap Widgets.
- Find BusBus and drag the My Stops widget to your home screen.
- Choose what it shows: First three saved stops, or one of your stops.
- Tap Add Widget.
The smaller widget shows one stop. Make it bigger to see up to three stops, or more buses for a single stop. The widget checks for buses about every 15 minutes, and when you change your saved stops, and shows when it last checked. Tap the refresh button to check now, or tap the widget to open the stop, or My Stops, in BusBus.
To change what a widget shows, touch and hold it and choose to reconfigure it. The steps differ a little from phone to phone.
Shortcuts
Touch and hold the BusBus icon to see shortcuts to My Stops, Bunched Buses and Advisories, and to your first three saved stops. Tap a stop's shortcut to open it on the map.
