Fix a wrong place or street on the map

Updated

BusBus draws its map with Apple Maps on iPhone and iPad, and with Google Maps on Android. Streets, buildings, and points of interest like shops and landmarks all come from Apple or Google, so BusBus can't change them. When they fix a mistake, it's fixed in BusBus too.

On iPhone and iPad

  1. Open the Maps app on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Find the place or street that's wrong.
  3. Use Report an Issue in Maps to tell Apple what's wrong.

Apple sometimes moves where Report an Issue appears. If you can't find it, search Apple's iPhone User Guide for "Report an issue in Maps" for the current steps.

On Android

  1. Open the Google Maps app on your phone or tablet.
  2. Find the place or street that's wrong, and tap it.
  3. Use Suggest an edit to tell Google what's wrong.

Google sometimes moves where Suggest an edit appears. If you can't find it, search Google Maps Help for "suggest an edit" for the current steps.

Problems with stops and routes

Bus stops, routes and bus positions don't come from Apple Maps or Google Maps. They come from the MTA, through BusBus. If a stop or route is in the wrong place, use Email support on this page and tell us the line and the stop number. The stop number is on the stop's card, like Stop 403171.
